Sure, go buy a piano here! They are going to hire delivery people to deliver it to you, as well as set it up and tune and tone regulate it for you. Right? Who do you call when a hammer comes loose? The store manager? New instruments can have minor adjustment problems too, such as a loose hammer that went unnoticed during prepping. Also, who do you call when junior lets a pencil drop on the action and you can't figure out why the new piano doesn't sound right. A reputable dealer takes these items as part of a daily routine. The store manager at the discounter probably knows a lot about discount stores, but probably not much about the instrument he sold you. Chances are, if you really shop, you can find the same piano across town at a lower price...if it happens here, it probably happens there.
