I have no idea! I can't see it, touch it, play it, or inspect it. You don't have a professional Registered Piano Technician's report or inspection of the instrument? You haven't sent me a photograph of it? How could I tell you value on what I can't see, touch, feel, play, or know the exact nature as to the observed condition of the instrument? Make Sense? If you just bought the old piano at a garage sale for $50...it just may be worth $50?..........?
My Common Email Response:
Have a professional Registered Piano Technician inspect the instrument for you in your market and give you a report on the condition and approximate value of the instrument in your market. What work does it need to make it all it can be. What will it cost, and how does that impact the current asking price in the newspapers for week-end shoppers in your area? You can find a RPT in our Other Links or on our Main Menu link to the PTG, or in your local Yellow Pages in the Telephone Book. If you are serious about selling it, we need the registered technician's report, as well as several photographs before we could list it and set a price. We don't generally talk price and value without a technician's report on the instrument in question. Sound Fair?
